- LOCATION: Remote - United States only (TimeZone: EST | Partial overlap)
- HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $100 – $119/hr
- ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long-term
THE OPPORTUNITY
About The Role
The individual in this role will be responsible for owning a roadmap for multiple quarters and strategically collaborating with engineering and marketing partners on how to balance between maintaining current channels and prioritizing tech debt vs. adding new features and expanding to new channels.
Requirements
Must-Haves
- 4+ years experience working directly with engineers
- Stakeholder management experience
- Experience working in the AdTech or Digital Marketing space
- Experience with Jira
- Strong organization skills and problem solving ability
- Strong communication skills, including on technical matters
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous experience at an ecommerce company
- Experience using Google Docs and Google Sheets
Details/Notes
- This role will support leave coverage for a member of the team.
- Eligible for remote, in office, or hybrid work modes.
- Must be able to work 9am to 5pm ET hours
- Extension in this role is possible but not guaranteed, pending budget availability and contractor performance.
- Candidates will attend three ~30 minute interviews, including one with the HM and two with stakeholders from the team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Creating a monthly roadmap
- Regularly communicating to stakeholders about key milestones
- Designing specs for engineers to execute, including:
- Gathering needs and requirements from marketing partners
- Defining short vs. long term needs for the product
- Translating marketing goals into eng jira tickets so that IC Engineers can execute on marketing needs
- Collaborating with engineering managers to break up the work into sprints
- Collaborating with marketing and legal partners to ensure we are complying with changing regulations
