The Role
As a Product Manager for our Credit Card team, you will be instrumental in shaping and advancing our credit card offerings. You’ll oversee the entire product lifecycle—from defining the vision and gathering requirements to executing successfully and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams, you will drive business goals and enhance the customer experience. Your key focus will be on increasing card utilization and credit card user growth. You will be responsible for optimizing customer funnels to boost engagement and conversion rates and launching new credit card products to scale the business. Your efforts will ensure that our credit card offerings not only meet but exceed customer expectations, positioning us as a leader in the industry.  

Problems You Will Solve

  • Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with product leadership to develop a compelling vision and strategy for our credit card products. Create and executea multi-year roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market opportunities. 
  • Backlog Management: Translate the product vision into actionable phases. Prioritize and manage the product backlog with your engineering teams to ensure timely and impactful product launches. 
  • Customer Insights: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points related to credit cards. Use this insight to drive product decisions and create innovative solutions. 
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data and analytics to refine your understanding of customer behavior and product performance. Conduct experiments and A/B tests to optimize product features and enhance user satisfaction. 
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with internal stakeholders across technology, marketing, legal, and operations to translate business requirements into detailed product specifications. 
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with a distributed team of designers, researchers, engineers, and testers to scope, design, and build new features and enhancements. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key metrics to continuously improve product performance and meet business objectives. 
  • Project Management:Establish clear product delivery timelines in collaboration with the development team. Keep stakeholders informed of progress, trade-offs, and any changes in scope. 
  • Collaboration: Address and resolve questions and conflicts among organizational stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. 
  • Impactful Contribution: Actively contribute to the broader product management group, sharing insights and best practices to drive overall team success. 

About You

  • Experience: 5+ years of related product management experience, with a track record of defining and launching successful consumer-facing products. Experience in the fintech industry building credit cards is a plus. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Strategic and Detail-Oriented: Ability to balance a strategic vision with attention to detail, understanding both the big picture and the specifics of the product. 
  • Domain Expertise: Proven ability to learn and master domain-specific knowledge, especially in financial services or credit card products. 
  • Innovation: Demonstrated capability to drive innovation and develop new ideas that advance the product and meet customer needs. 
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of both business and engineering aspects of product development, with the ability to engage in technical discussions. 
  • Ownership: Exhibit a high level of accountability and ownership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with a focus on delivery and actionable results. 
  • Communication: Superior communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and team members. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle shifting priorities and adapt quickly to changing tasks and challenges.
