About Tomo

Tomo’s mission is not just to make homebuying joyful, or to make homebuying easy, or to make homebuying fast.  Tomo’s mission is to advantage the homebuyer.  Everyone else is in line ready to take their cut from a homebuyer - and all too often that cut is not deserved. We are by their side trying to give them a leg up, trying to give them information others don’t have, give them advice others don’t have, give them a lower cost that others don’t have - all that they can use to achieve better outcomes than they’d be able to otherwise.

You are a driven, analytical, and strategic thinker who will thrive developing products for a Mortgage experience.  You bring creativity to problem solving.  You thrive on solving complex problems, using quant/qual data and pivoting quickly.  You’re not deterred by  understanding the ins and outs of a regulated space. Along with all of this,  you enjoy collaborating with internal stakeholders  to improve customer outcomes.

This role is based in our Seattle, WA Office Monday - Wednesday and remote optional Thursday & Friday.

The things you’ll be doing

  • Ruthlessly advocate for your customers (internal and external) to identify opportunities and convert them into inspiring visions, strategies, roadmaps, and priorities
  • Manage the product vision across various products: diving into the blueprint for the product and addressing potential blockers in the product backlog
  • Work with engineers, UX and data to develop new products that are effective in hitting a defined goal
  • Can own complex ambiguous project from ideation to launch without oversight
  • Gets exec buy-in on resource needs and clear milestones for multi-phase deliverables
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations
  • Work with both quantitative and qualitative data to help inform decisions and define the metrics that inform the success of your product
  • Drive teams to ship product features on aggressive timelines

What you’ll bring

  • 8 years of product management launching new products with internal and external customers
  • Technical fluency that enables you to creatively explore possibilities and challenge constraints with engineering,
  • Curiosity, ability and passion to collaborate with teammates
  • Understanding complex logic, process, and business requirements (You find this fun!)
  • Excel at giving & receiving feedback to help ensure the customer experience meets our bar
  • Pivoting quickly and editing our roadmap based on data we collect post a product launch
The expected annual compensation for this position will be between
$180,000$200,000 USD
