The Podcast Mission is the product and technology team at Spotify responsible for building the best tools for podcast creators. We build the platforms, tools, and features that deliver a great creator experience, allowing podcasters to host (for free!), create, and distribute their episodes, while making money from their art and growing and engaging with their audience.
We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead our creator monetization efforts. This role is crucial to crafting the future of how creators earn a living from their art for audio and video shows on Spotify.
What You'll Do
- Drive a clear product vision and roadmap for how the creator monetization experience plays out across different content types
- Collaborate with design & engineering partners to write detailed requirements and break down complex deliverables into manageable, sequenced scope
- Partner with insights to understand creator reaction to our monetization offering, and iterate continuously to improve creator satisfaction and revenue growth
- Prioritize across a complex product portfolio and diverse customer profiles to maximize creator value on Spotify
- Build relationships with teams across Spotify to effectively advocate for support for creators’ monetization needs
- Communicate strategic context at the right level for different stakeholder groups, making sure each audience understands the why behind decisions that were made
Who You Are
- At least 2+ years of product management experience
- Self-starter who can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record of delivering impact for end users
- Excellent communication with stakeholders in written & verbal form
- Curious to learn more about the business models that power creator success on Spotify
- Passionate about creators succeeding & finding their home on Spotify
- Experience building creator monetization and ads products a plus

The United States base range for this position is $112,298-$160,245, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
