About the team

One of Stripe’s core missions is to increase the GDP of the internet by abstracting away the complexities of payments. To accomplish this big vision, Stripe innovates on how to enable companies and e-commerce platforms to easily accept new payment methods, from digital wallets to international banking methods, each with its own value proposition and unique complexities to end users. 

The newly formed Saas Platform Payments team executes on Stripe's vision by owning, inventing, and launching innovative solutions that allow platforms to enable downstream merchants to accept a wide range of payment methods worldwide and at scale. This team seeks to help some of Stripe’s largest SaaS platform clients expand globally into new markets, easily onboard their merchants onto new payment methods, and drastically impact their bottom line by integrating new payment methods into their businesses. 

What you’ll do

The Product Manager, Platform Payment Acceptance will partner closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and various global teams to build a multi-year strategy, develop product requirements, and oversee the execution of large scale initiatives to create a world class payment method experience. 

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into the platform ecosystem and develop a multi-year product roadmap to create a best-in-class payment methods experience
• Meet with high profile accounts to determine the best way to innovate on their behalf
• Partner with engineering to build and launch new experiences for enabling payment methods
• Partner with business development, sales, and marketing to create go-to-market plans Serve as a thought leader on Paytech trends to drive innovation solutions across the team

Minimum requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience 
• Experience partnering closely with engineers to build products (especially APIs & platforms) and complex systems at scale
• Software engineering or similar technical experience
• Aptitude to and interest in driving cross-functional projects
• A strong data-driven/analytical mindset

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working on SaaS platforms/products  
• Experience in banking, fintech/paytech, and/or e-commerce
