Product Manager, Payments

About the Role: We're searching for a Payments Product Manager to join Remitly's International Product team. This new role will be accountable for implementation and optimisation of the different payment methods supported by Remitly in the different markets of the International team.

You'll use internal and external analyses to identify potential points of improvement in the payment space and potential new relevant payment methods which will drive the creation of the roadmap items. You will work together with engineering, design, finance, data and other teams on creating payments solutions that help our customers pay the way they want.

You Will: 

• Define Remitly's payments product roadmap and build a prioritization framework that captures relevant tradeoffs for the team (examples: feature prioritization, release planning, and financial justification) while creating organizational alignment.
• Partner with teams in product, marketing, engineering, finance, legal, business development and others to implement Remitly's payments strategy and measure the impact on business results.
• Lead the delivery of an outstanding payments experience through development of detailed requirements, implementation plans and execution
• Recommend enhancements to improve the payments experience for Remitly's customers, backed by a solid business case, customer insights, competitor analysis and quantitative research
• Stay informed about new products and experiences in payments and FinTech and share insights throughout the business
• Set up and analyze A/B tests and provide comprehensive test readouts with well thought through recommendations
• Develop strategy to improve Remitly's payment network to solve customer problems and increase the business.
• Work with designers to define interaction, design and UI requirements and priorities.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience in payments as Product Manager or Product Owner
• Experience motivating teams across software engineering, UI design, and analytics, with an understanding of how things work within those domains
• Data is the source of your decision-making and you will have experience working with customer data to develop better customer experiences
• You can work with engineers to make tough technical tradeoffs and you can sweat the details to understand the impacts of these tradeoffs and find a careful balance between short-term outcomes and long-term effects.
