The Role

As a Product Manager, Payments, you will drive the development of payment solutions that integrate with PandaDoc’s Quote-to-Cash platform. Your focus will be on building features for payment processing, collaborating with PSPs (Payment Service Providers), and staying ahead of evolving customer needs in the payments industry. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll interact with stakeholders across engineering, design, and sales to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build secure, user-friendly payment workflows.
  • Integrate with leading PSPs and payment gateways while ensuring smooth implementation of payment methods such as cards, ACH, and digital wallets.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product roadmaps, features, and enhancements.
  • Stay updated on payment industry trends, compliance standards, and technologies to inform product decisions.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to gather feedback and refine solutions that improve the user experience.

About you

  • Experience: 3–4 years in product management, particularly within payments, fintech, or related industries. Experience with companies like Stripe, Square, Adyen, or PayPal is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of payment gateways, PSPs, and various payment methods (credit cards, bank transfers, digital wallets). Familiarity with recurring payments, fraud prevention, and transaction optimization is advantageous.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable working with APIs and collaborating with engineering teams to build and troubleshoot integrations.
  • Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision-making with the ability to interpret trends and measure product success.
  • Customer Focus: Deep empathy for customer pain points and the ability to translate insights into actionable product features.
  • Execution Excellence: Strong organizational skills to manage backlogs, prioritize initiatives, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of compliance standards like PCI DSS.
  • Familiarity with subscription billing models, including usage-based pricing or tiered plans.
  • Degree in a technical or analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Finance) or equivalent experience.
