Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa company, is a global leader in e-Commerce Payment Management. As part of CyberSource’s continued growth and expansion we are looking for talented, articulate and bright individuals who want to make a difference.
CyberSource has been and continues to be a pioneer within the e-Commerce Payment Management world. CyberSource offers a full-service payment management platform for e-commerce merchants, combining global payment processing, fraud management and payment security systems.

As Product Manager you will have the responsibility to define and drive the product strategy and product roadmap of CyberSource next-generation boarding toolsetsfor developers and software partners.Through merchant boarding and management APIs we will deliver exceptional developer experiences for CyberSource’ s payment ecosystem of merchants, acquirers and technology partners, to not only accelerate the time to market for payment application development but to empower developers to imagine completely new ways to leverage payments through their applications. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop with product leadership team, the technology partner / Instant Boarding product roadmap in alignment with business strategy and goals 
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the broader boarding teams to ensure consistency between technology partners and traditional financial institution partner requirements 
  • Engage with technology partners and developer-facing internal organizations, including sales, account management, and customer integration, to understand the partner’s business and technical requirements and use cases 
  • Enhance and improve application development experiences based on usability testing, conversion data, and client feedback 
  • Evolve the current product portfolio in order to drive platform innovation and competitive differentiation to protect and grow revenue 

  • Act as thought leader to influence and drive material growth in the adoption of Cybersource Instant Boarding and OAuth products across our Tech Partner and Acquiring Solutions portfolios. 
  • Collaborate with product development engineering and program management organizations to ensure product requirements are translated into working software following the agile process, in a timely manner 
  • Work with Business Operations and Merchant Support teams to develop best in class tools and reporting in support of day to day operations 
  • Create User Stories and document product requirements; develop well-formed features specifications and acceptance criteria 
  • Own and develop clear and concise product collateral in order to document the platform to inform and educate internal stakeholders and clients of its desired behavior e.g. Product Guides, Integration Guides, Release Notes 
  • Quickly resolve customer impacting issues with development teams 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
• Strong academic credentials in commercial, technology or related field and/or equivalent professional experience within a product commercialization role
• Experience in designing and launching developer APIs across different developer channels (web, mobile, POS, etc.) using popular development languages a strong plus
• Knowledge of web-based system integration technologies such as REST, JSON, OAuth, Webhooks is a strong plus
• Prior experience in developer engagement and developer evangelism is preferred
• Ability to work with internal product development and engineering teams to deliver products on schedule and with good quality
• Familiar with agile software development methodology
• Strong desire and aptitude to be very hands-on in all stages of a product lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Proactive sense of urgency and “can do” attitude
• More than comfortable in an ambiguous matrixed organization
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
