A World-Changing Company

At Palantir, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. We partner with the most important institutions in the world to transform how they use data and technology. Our software has been used to stop terrorist attacks, discover new medicines, gain an edge in global financial markets, and more. If these types of projects excite you, we'd love for you to join us.

The Role

Product Managers work side by side with our internal engineering teams to dream big, build big, and deliver big product wins that transform entire industries. The problem space we tackle is wildly diverse and growing every day. We enable the discovery of new financial relationships and strategies in capital markets. We power global humanitarian and disaster relief efforts. We uncover fraud rings and cyber-attacks. We do a lot, but we're not domain experts; we're problem solving experts.

Product Managers lead efforts at Palantir to develop new product offerings that completely change how entire industries solve their hardest problems: we work to deeply understand new domains (both subjectively and analytically) by spending time in the field with people who know the problem; we synthesize, articulate and drive a vision for how to tackle the problem; and we continually tack, jibe and navigate with our engineering teams as we implement that vision to drive billions in value for our customers. We may not all be engineers, but we love engineering. We thrive in high pressure, chaotic situations, and love creating product in those environments.

You may have successfully built out teams or companies before to solve complex problems. You are as comfortable talking to senior executives as you are with front-line analysts at customer sites, and you excel at working with super talented teams to help them be even more successful. You know how to work as part of a team, but can also independently drive and lead projects. You are singularly mission focused, but you are extremely flexible on the tactics necessary to achieve that mission.

Core Responsibilities

  • Roadmap the future of the product by synthesizing complex problems, developing offering vision and collaborating with internal engineering teams.
  • Engage with customers in order to develop a substantive understanding of their domain, hard problems, and perspective on solutions.
  • Conduct analysis and solve problems with customer data onsite when necessary.
  • Gather feedback and requirements for features under development.
  • Work with developers to prioritize feature work.
  • Manage relationships with customer partners.

What We Value

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams (software or database experience a plus, but not required).
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, analytical tools, databases, and tradecraft preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate business strategy and solutions to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to run a high-paced product development team across multiple locations and timezones, and proactively navigate and roll out changes in global prioritization.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% and up to 75% of the time.
