The Ad experiences team is looking for an experienced Product Manager to build ad experiences that deliver value to customers and delight neighbors. 

The Impact You’ll Have

As the Product Manager on the Ad experiences team, you’ll lead a cross-functional team of developers, product marketing and data scientists to build the roadmap for formats and contextual placements. You’ll work closely with design, user research team to understand the needs of advertisers (both big and small) and neighbors and incorporate new requirements into the roadmap. You will build relationships with product teams in other organizations to identify opportunities to serve a relevant ad. You’ll work with your engineering team to ensure execution and high quality delivery. You will be a champion for helping our small and large customers build their businesses and ultimately receive value from advertising on Nextdoor.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and manage the portfolio of ad formats for SMBs and enterprise customers
  • Focus on delivering value to customers to demonstrate ROI by helping customers improve their return on ad spend
  • Increase the quality of ads seen by our neighbors: improve ad personalization, and relevance
  • Balance ad inventory strategy for revenue and neighbor experience
  • Grow overall ad revenue for Nextdoor

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics or Statistics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in a product management role, with demonstrated leadership in the management of a portfolio of products through the software development lifecycle, from conception to launch to ongoing performance measurement and optimization
  • Experience working on ad platforms or have prior experience using ad platforms as a marketeer
  • Experience working with SAAS pricing models, marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and good judgment
