About the Company
Flow aims to create a superior living environment that enhances the lives of our residents and communities by developing, acquiring, owning, and managing multifamily apartment buildings and the services and technology inside those buildings.

Fulfilling our mission will require an exceptional group of people whose collective output is greater than the sum of its individual parts. Our team members are energized by the opportunity to impact our residents’ lives in meaningful ways. They are bold and creatively ambitious, driven by relentlessly high standards, act with a sense of urgency and accountability, and always, above all, operate with integrity, loyalty, and trust.

About the role
We are looking for a Product Manager to launch a Neobank from scratch. This will be focused on the residential real estate segment and further the financial services capabilities of Flow. You will have the unique opportunity to deliver an MVP and guide the development of our longer term roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our Neo-bank product
  • Lead cross-functional projects to build and launch our new product, iterate on product features to find product market fit, and grow the install base of the product beyond the initial target market segment of tenants
  • Develop mechanisms, tools, and techniques to discover deep customer insights to identify, evaluate, scope, and launch compelling new features as you strive to achieve dominance in your target market
  • Lead the entire lifecycle of product development - researching, shaping the strategy, prioritizing the right MVP scope, creating detailed specs, to managing the execution and timeline of releases
  • Work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders such as design, engineering, brand marketing, analytics, and building operations teams to define projects, triage bugs, update progress across the company, and set quarterly strategies and milestones
  • Set ambitious goals for yourself and for the team. Manage team workflow to ship deliverables on time

Ideal Background

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in Product Management with a demonstrated ability to build and ship a product from scratch
  • You have experience working on consumer facing products. Prior experience with retail banking product sets is a must, which includes deposit accounts and credit products
  • You have the knowledge of and experience with integrating 3rd party APIs (Plaid, Atomic, Socure and others) into your product flows to markedly improve time to market of your product
  • You have the technical fluency to create and manage frameworks to drive data driven decision making
  • You have the drive to create customer journeys and conduct competitor analysis and use that experience to inform your strategy
  • You learn fast and are unafraid of using mistakes as critical elements of your learning journey
  • Where necessary, you have a knack for discovering deep customer insights using gut instinct and then building convincing story lines and user journeys to support your stated product roadmap
  • You are a great collaborator and teacher. Effective written communication skills are especially important
  • You are resourceful. You know how to do more with less, and you’ve worked on lean teams that have had a big impact. You are not afraid of big challenges, and you do whatever it takes to get the job done
