We are seeking an innovative and experienced Product Manager – Money Experience. This critical role requires product vision, strategy, and a comprehensive knowledge of automotive and payments. This role will cross-functionally guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. This role is required to be onsite at Lucid Motors HQ (Newark, CA).



Responsibilities:

  • Own roadmap, product strategy, and execution of entire payment flows from user experience to vendor integrations to in-house infrastructure
  • You can break down complex business problems into steps that drive product development.to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information
  • Drive critical areas of the business, increased payment options, payment scale & reliability, and fraud mitigation
  • Clearly communicate roadmap, progress, and insights to key teams and stakeholders
  • You are responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users
  • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams
  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions
  • Your objectives are directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, operational efficiency, cost, customer acquisition, expansion and retention

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager delivering excellence in payments (merchants, payment processing, issuing, acquiring)
  • A foundational understanding of financial transaction processing systems and finds joy in the details
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in Automotive, e-Commerce, Fintech, Payments or Treasury Operations
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies with a proven track record of successfully launching products
  • Communication: You articulate and document both clearly and concisely
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex product management concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort working exceptionally fast in an ambiguous work environment
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in a technical field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in e-commerce or developing localized products for international markets
  • Experience in EV industry is a plus
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience leading teams, ideally at a technology company
  • Diverse experience, working in rapidly evolving start-ups as well as complex, large scale companies
  • Strategic acumen, forward looking problem solver with a participatory management style and team building skills, who can act quickly and decisively when needed
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
·       California (Bay Area) - $108,000 – $154,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
