Airtable’s mission is to democratize software creation. Our suite of powerful, flexible, visual tools gives teams the ability to create software unique tailored to their workflows without using code. Today, Airtable creators craft powerful applications to orchestrate cross-cutting workflows like Product Roadmapping, OKR management, and Marketing Campaign Planning.

We’re looking for an experienced product manager to join our team working on world-class end user mobile experiences for all apps built on Airtable. In this role you’ll lead the process of defining the product vision and strategy for the mobile surface, and how Airtable thinks about empowering builders to create mobile-first apps.

As the mobile PM, you will lead Airtable’s vision for mobile app development, including how Airtable can break into new markets where mobile-first workflows are dominant, such as field sales, event management, floor operations, or inventory management. In this role, you will define how Airtable can evolve mobile apps from the critical surface for collaboration it is today to a driver of new business and future growth s-curves.

What you'll do

  • Lead the strategy definition, vision, roadmap and execution for Airtable’s mobile native applications, including which user segments and markets we choose to prioritize.
  • Deeply understand customer use cases and workflows and the product capabilities required to support the creation of functional and intuitive mobile applications. Partner with research, data, customer success, sales and support teams to form a holistic view of opportunity space and build a compelling roadmap that addresses the most impactful opportunities.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for product & problem areas experienced by customers and prospects seeking to build intuitive mobile applications to facilitate workflows at scale. Proactively engage with go-to-market teams to communicate how customer pain points will be addressed by future product plans.
  • Partner closely with design, engineering and other product teams to establish team rituals, build product plans, manage dependencies, and create a productive and collaborative team culture.
  • Represent Airtable’s broader product organization in meetings with both existing and prospective customers, and synthesize and share insights with product teams and leadership.

Who you are

  • Strategic business thinker - must be able to efficiently break down a complex problem into a small set of component parts, and paint a picture for which markets Airtable should be pursuing with its mobile strategy.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and bias towards action - operates with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and ownership-oriented mindset. Identifies problems, themes, and trends and proactively addresses them.
  • Excellent product & design sense - understands what makes a great product and user experience. Sweats the details and constructively pushes the team to deliver exceptional work that exceeds customer expectations. Ability to help craft a multi-horizon vision for a nascent product area.
  • Strong collaborator  - works collaboratively with partners in engineering, design, research, data, product and go-to-market partners to foster a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Crisp communicator - must be efficient with words and get to the point. Regularly creates succinct and inspirational artifacts that drive team alignment. Unafraid of taking a point of view and sharing proposals for collaborative input. Ability to inspire and win the respect of leaders across the company.
  • Efficient operator - must be able to create efficient processes that are highly effective at delivering results.
  • Track record of successful products and features - has created and delivered winning products/features that demonstrate strong traction and customer love.
