About the Team

The Merchant Product Team here at DoorDash is responsible for the overall growth and health of merchants on the DoorDash App. The Merchant team is separated into a few different areas: Selection, Experience, Growth, Platform and New Bets.

The Selection team is responsible for getting every local merchant on the DoorDash platform. The Experience team picks up from the Selection team once a merchant is onboarded and ensures that a merchant can flawlessly operate on DoorDash. Our Growth team works with our merchant base to help advise and grow each and every merchant’s business. Our Platform team builds the underpinnings of our technology including our Developer APIs, Integrations, Menu and Financial systems. Our New Bets group is responsible for incubating new products for Restaurants and has incubated new offerings like our white label Online Ordering Storefront and Cash Advance products.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Work with cross-functional partners and executive stakeholders to set and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Own and deliver on product and business objectives.
  • Identify the biggest problems to solve and ruthlessly prioritize them. Drive new feature development from start to finish.
  • Run user research, usability studies, data-driven experiments to develop deep customer empathy and inform product direction.
  • Establish, monitor, and measure success metrics for your products. Consistently integrate behavior data and customer feedback into key product decisions.
  • Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to all audiences - within teams, company, to users, press, etc.

We’re excited about you because…

  • 4+ years of direct product management experience, with a strong track record of shipping consumer or business products that customers love.
  • Natural ability to make stuff happen around you through influence. You handle chaos, ambiguity, and complexity in a detailed and organized way.
  • You have experience working in a highly cross-functional environment and can build products that require coordination across various teams.
  • "Spidey-sense" product instincts and an ability to balance user and business impact.
  • Strong interest in logistics, online-to-offline, on-demand services, transportation, marketplaces is a plus
