Product Manager, Merchant Bank, Engagement

As a Product Manager in our Merchant Bank Tribe, you will build products that will engage our customers across multiple markets, delivering top notch user experience to millions of SMEs and solopreneurs. 

You’ll work closely with User Research, Lending and Compliance teams and as well as our other product teams that sit at the core of SumUp’s Merchant Bank. You’ll be paired with engineering teams in Germany and Brasil, as well as collaborate with other support functions in the UK, Bulgaria and Lithuania.

Our ideal Product Manager has consumer tech experience and has led the development of customer facing products, has an extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, and is passionate about learning about financial habits of SMEs.

At SumUp, Product Managers help build financial products for our customers. You’d be joining a growing team of experienced Product Managers who successfully built business and consumer facing financial products and are transforming the way people manage their money. 

What you’ll do

• Help to design and drive the product roadmap for SumUp’s banking products
• Work together with a cross functional team of designers and developers to deliver engagement features
• Become the company expert on the financial behaviors of SMEs and solopreneurs in our markets
• Collaborate with other product managers and business units to evangelize engagement best practices in SumUp 
• Regularly share insights and results across the tribe and to the broader SumUp organization.

You’ll be great for this role if you have:

• 2-3 year of product management experience in consumer tech 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• You are an extremely creative thinker, you constantly think outside the box
• Strong customer empathy, you constantly put in your users’ shoes
• Tech-savviness - you understand the main trends in technology
• Maker attitude, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty
• Permissionless attitude, you don’t need to ask permission to make things happen
