About the job

This position is needed to build products and features to support Twilio’s expansion into new geographic markets across the globe. This team supports Twilio’s international expansion goals which is one of the major growth vectors for Twilio. This team will contribute to a major initiative for the Twilio platform and the work will have a significant impact on the trajectory of the company.

We are looking for someone who excels at prioritizing tasks across multiple stakeholders and has the vision to help drive the long term strategy within your product group. We are looking for someone with a platform mindset who can help build extensible products and provide trusted experiences. This role will lead all aspects of product development and day to day product operations. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and use data to build a long-term product roadmap
  • Ruthlessly prioritise features based on value proposition and be able to clearly communicate rationale 
  • Discover requirements for new features by working with internal & external stakeholders across all levels
  • Document requirements in the various formats used as part of the “Twilio Way”
  • Work daily with Engineering & UX to get deliveries & releases over the line

Required:

  • 5+ years of product management experience OR equivalent experience in creating and executing on a backlog to achieve revenue goals/KPI targets tied to a product area.
  • Ability to drive a large product area or a small product line 
  • Strategic thinker who excels at defining the product roadmap and specing out new features/product enhancements
  • Ability to drive and improve alignment and cross-functional partnership through your product line (e.g. GTM, PMM, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of current customers, competitor and market trends
  • Great communicator who can find common ground across different types of stakeholders
  • Has the technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers
  • Naturally focused on customer impact; able to articulate how it ties to overall business strategy and goals.
  • Data-informed and metrics-driven, measures and benchmarks execution to drive outcomes in their product area.

Desired:

  • Previous experience working with adapting products for new markets

Location 

This role will be remote.

Approximately 0% travel is anticipated.

Colorado applicants: 

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $96,096.00  - $151,008.00 
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
