Product Manager - KYC Handling (FinCrime) 

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our growing FinCrime tribe, specifically focusing on KYC Handling, a new team being formed out of our Tallinn office. 

This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission, helping Wise directly and our customers around the world. 

Your mission

Focusing on streamlining Business KYC (Limited, Refresh Cycle, Business CDD) and moving these processes to internal case handling tools. Handling customer cases in a unified way enables proper outsourcing, improves QA process and makes agents faster.  

Working together with the outsourcing team to define outsourcing strategy, support finding backups for existing coverage and together with operational leads ensure we always have enough coverage externally and internally to handle the incoming workload. 

• Figure out the vision and goals of the team, how to measure them and how to set the OKRs – inspire the team and define the product direction together with them
• Work closely with operational teams to help them figure out how to streamline manual processes.
• Collaborate with other product teams in building a tooling platform that is easy to use and quick to integrate when adding or changing or adding new manual processes
• Communicate the goals and long term strategy in an engaging way, as well as keep the team aligned in the short term priorities

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Help toward the building and the evolution of a new team within Wise.   
• Automate processes internally that could revolutionise and direct operational power in the right way.
• Reshape and streamline internal processes, ensuring we have the most efficient processes and tools in place to allow for scaling operational teams. 

A couple of skills that might describe you as a PM:

To achieve success in this role you will need to have proven experience working with internal operational teams, and the ability to illustrate how you have increased efficiency via automation, tool introduction and/or tool development.   

• Previous experience working with multiple product and cross-functional teams. 
• Strategic vision around building and scaling teams. 
• Data-driven – You are able to self-serve with data, and use it to both identify opportunities and measure your impact. You can get the entire company behind you by telling stories with data.
• You have fresh ideas - You don’t accept the status quo, but are interested in solving problems in novel ways. You are able to communicate the impact of those ideas and formulate plans to implement them
• You have a connection with or specific interest in solving internal operational and product issues that ultimately lead to helping our customers.
