Our mission at Fidel API is to unlock the full potential of payment cards. We offer a suite of financial infrastructure APIs that enable developers to build programmable experiences connected to purchases made in real-time using a card. Our tools are transforming how merchants and users interact by powering real-time, event-driven engagements, best-in-class loyalty and rewards programs and revolutionizing processes from reimbursements to expense management.

Our APIs are used by start-ups through global enterprises including Google, British Airways, TopCashback, Perkbox, Royal Bank of Canada, and Blackhawk Networks, and are supported by the world’s largest card networks, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Launched in 2018, Fidel is headquartered in London, with offices in Lisbon, New York, and remote employees globally. Fidel is backed by investors including Nyca Partners, QED Investors, Citi Ventures, RBC Capital and Commerce Ventures.

In this exciting period of growth, both within the UK and on the international stage, we are now looking for an experienced Product Manager who wants to be part of this journey.

What you'll do...

  • Work closely with Design, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and build new products, and to direct go-to-market activities;
  • Explore ways of serving our clients development needs after a transaction occurs, investigating payments and issuance solutions to their pain points;
  • Define and own the product roadmap, and engage with leadership to get buy-in and secure resources;
  • Be responsible for writing detailed user stories, scoping and prioritising work, alongside Engineering, UX and cross-functional team;

We want you, if you have/can:

  • Experience developing / launching API products, preferably within a start-up environment, within the space of card issuance and bank-as-a-service
  • Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions;
  • Experience effectively leading conversations with UX and engineering;
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority;
  • Show an analytical mindset - you can clearly link features to the metrics they are able to drive. You gain extensive insights from qualitative and quantitative data;
  • Show the ability to balance many projects and stakeholders at once - organization and comfort with ambiguity is key;
  • Have agile experience, a plus;
