We’re looking for a data-savvy summer intern to join our product team!

Responsibilities will include:

Helping to figure out solutions to user needs, customer problems, and or internal UpCodes challenges, and then collaborating with engineers to deliver those solutions.
Analyzing user behavior in Amplitude, logs, SQL databases, and other data sources to inform our future product roadmap and company-wide strategic plans
Identifying patterns of user behavior that diagnose (or, better, anticipate) important business outcomes like purchasing or churning.
Helping to design customer-facing product features and internal tools, especially those focused on understanding and visualizing user behavior.

Candidates should have:

Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience getting useful insights from data sources using SQL, text mining, log analysis, and other tools like Amplitude and Google Analytics
A knack for turning raw and ambiguous raw data into practical plans, helpful visualizations, and actionable metrics
Familiarity with project management tools, including Github, JIRA, Notion, or similar
A collaborative, low-ego approach focused on team success and flexibility
Empathy for low-tech users using high-tech products
Pursuing an undergraduate or masters degree in a technical or business field
