Spotify is a global community of over 250 million music fans, artists, and now podcasters. It's always been our mission to make audio more accessible for everyone, and create innovative ways for creators and fans to connect with each other.

The Talk Mission is the team within Spotify responsible for building the best tools for podcast, video, and live creators. We have three platforms that help us deliver a great creator experience: Anchor (the platform that allows you to create, distribute, monetize, and grow a podcast, all for free), Spotify for Podcasters (the platform that makes it easy to understand and engage with your listeners on Spotify), and Spotify Live (the platform that allows anyone to stream and interact with live audio).

We are looking for a product manager to join our team on the “Operationalize” product area, focused on internal tooling to support our marketing, legal, and R&D teams. This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in strategies across the Creator Platform.

What you'll do

  • Shape the roadmap that builds infrastructure and operations for our teams to build, measure, and deliver with speed, flexibility, and scale.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal users such as marketing, legal, data insights, engineering, and design to identify problems and determine high-impact opportunities that enable teams to work faster
  • Meet regularly and internal stakeholders to ensure we are building the right products, tracking success metrics, and communicating developments
  • Come up with aggressive goals and deadlines for the platform and hit them
  • Collaborate and coordinate with infrastructure, legal and compliance teams to ensure our products support capabilities for all teams

Who you are

  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally solving scaling and infrastructure problems for highly technical products
  • Passionate about creator products and features for managing content and online presence
  • You love getting into the weeds and finding ways to simplify complex systems
  • A big picture thinker, willing and able to build out a strategy and see it through
  • Organized and results-driven, can manage multiple projects extending across many teams, stick to realistic deadlines, and push back when necessary
  • An exceptional communicator, comfortable with both writing and presenting technical concepts to get your ideas heard and get consensus from a variety of internal partners
  • Collaborative, and able to both give and receive direct feedback to help things progress efficiently
  • Creative in all the right ways. You’re bursting with unconventional ideas, and not afraid to give them all a try… but you also know how to balance those fun ideas with reality, resources, and business needs
  • All about execution. You have a proven ability to effectively execute, deliver, and quickly iterate without a lot of direct supervision
  • Experience with tools such as Optimizely, mParticle, Braze, and Branch is a plus.

Where you'll be

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them.
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within an Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours.
  • Prefer an office to work from instead? Not a problem! We have plenty of options for your working preferences. Find more information about our Work From Anywhere options here.
