About This Role

Strava is the app for active people. With over 150 million athletes in more than 190 countries, it’s more than tracking workouts—it’s where connection, motivation, and personal bests thrive. No matter your activity, gear, or goals, Strava’s got you covered. Find your crew, crush your milestones, and keep moving forward. Start your journey with Strava today.

As a Product Manager Intern, you will tackle business challenges by deeply understanding the needs of individuals on the move, analyzing market trends, and aligning innovative solutions with real-world needs.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Research—you will support the shaping of product vision, roadmaps, and designs that advance our mission to support movement. Through research, data-driven insights, and creative problem-solving, you will develop impactful solutions that empower people to live their best active lives.

We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to around half your time on-site in our San Francisco office—roughly three days per week.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team to conceptualize and refine product strategies, define roadmaps, and craft a clear, inspiring vision tailored to active communities.
  • Conduct user interviews, analyze quantitative research, and assess market trends to translate insights into well-defined product requirements and user stories that resonate with our customers
  • Share key concepts, insights, and findings with internal stakeholders and leaders to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Develop engaging methods to communicate and champion insights across the organization, fostering a deeply informed, innovative, and user-centered product vision.

You will be successful here by:

  • Build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and foster trust within diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Use data-driven insights, creative problem-solving, and industry awareness to shape and prioritize impactful product strategies.
  • Simplify complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives that engage and align stakeholders across the organization.
  • Develop engaging methods to share insights, inspire teams, and drive a user-centered, innovative product vision.
  • Proactively take initiative, adapt to challenges, and maintain a positive, resilient approach to achieving goals.

We’re excited about you because:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in product management OR in an active MBA program OR recently graduated from an MBA program.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex problems into clear, actionable insights and effectively influence peers and leadership.
  • You have the proven ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional team environments.
  • You’re skilled in articulating product roadmaps, including use cases, requirements, and functional or technical specifications.
  • You have a team-oriented mindset with a positive and proactive approach.

The Summer Internship Program:

  • You must be in an active MBA program or an applicable Masters program or equivalent.
  • The program will be in our SF office with a hybrid office attendance requirement.
  • Length of program: 10-12 weeks (Summer 2025 roughly June through August).
  • This is a paid internship.
  • You will be assigned a manager on the product team and be embedded in a current active cross functional team working on our current product roadmap.
  • There will be opportunities for full-time conversion based on performance and business need.
