About the Team
Our blog post from a few months ago describes our API Platform vision in detail - helping different types of teams slowly adopt and benefit from API-first practices. Seamless integrations, especially with version control systems, CI/CD tools, and Application Performance Monitoring systems are, are essential to provide value throughout the API lifecycle.
Postman is looking for talented Product Managers to work on Integrations that make the API Platform blend in with the workflows of developers around the world. We’re looking for those who are excited about building products that improved developer productivity and satisfaction. You will need to meld product thinking, technical understanding, user empathy, and thoughtful use of data in order to build an extraordinary experience for our users and customers.
In this job, you will:
- Develop the product strategy and roadmap to enable productive developer workflows.
- Become an authority in your product area and identify areas of opportunity through research and data.
- Engage actively with our user base to understand their needs and iterate rapidly on solutions.
- Define, understand, and improve key funnels and metrics
- Own features and experiments end-to-end, including writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, making thoughtful product decisions, and sharing insights and results throughout the company.
About you:
- Solid technical understanding - You can contribute meaningfully to technical conversations with engineering and distill complex ideas into simple experiences for our users. Experience building or maintaining gateways or gateway installations is a huge plus.
- Data fluency - You deeply understand how your products work, know every step of the funnel. You'll be expected to delve deep into datasets, build dashboards, and design and accurately measure experiments.
- Compelling communication - You’re able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical, in written/spoken forms.
- Product Intuition - You care deeply about getting the details right in order to ship a best-in-class product.
