The Insights team is at the center of the value Heap provides to its customers. Armed with a complete and instantly available dataset, we are building the easiest and fastest experience for digital builders to define success metrics, understand what’s working well or not well, find hidden friction points, and communicate the impact of experiments, feature launches, and more.
As a Senior Product Manager at Heap, you will:
Understand user needs. Build a deep understanding of customer needs (via interviews, surveys, quantitative analysis, etc.). Create a shared language for Heap user segments: how they behave, and how this maps to their needs and our roadmap to address those needs.
Drive business impact. Work with Heap’s engineering and design leadership to define measurable long-term objectives that have tangible business impact. Then define a hypothesis-driven roadmap aimed at achieving that impact.
Build, Ship, Learn. Write product briefs that clearly frame customer problems and define a set of prioritized user stories, work with engineering, data science, and design teams through the lifecycle of projects, from brainstorming solutions to navigating trade-offs during development, to making sure that we learn from every launch.
On Heap’s product team, we also strive to build a product org that advances the field of product management. Our team directly contributes to thought leadership in the space based on real practices that we build and iterate on ourselves. You will be directly involved in sharing these learnings with our customers and the broader market (some examples: templates for defining user needs and communicating learnings, a “Product Therapy” podcast, and numerous webinars).
