The Role

Pilot is growing quickly, and we’re looking for an experienced product manager to partner with our Infrastructure team to build clear product strategies, roadmaps, and specifications to support this growth
The Pilot Infrastructure team’s mission is to empower EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design) with the tools they need to confidently ship, test, measure, and learn from the products we develop. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define a cohesive infrastructure strategy and long-term roadmap that informs the Infrastructure team projects and prioritization
  • Partner with other engineering team to better understand their pain points and deliver needed solutions
  • Translate ambiguous or complex ideas into clear product specs and executable engineering projects
  • Deeply understand and represent the voices of our infra customers
  • Combine qualitative research with quantitative analysis to deliver insights that inform our product decisions
  • Own and drive the product lifecycle from ideation through implementation and launch
  • Help evolve the PM discipline within the Infrastructure organization

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the infrastructure space
  • A combination of deep technical knowledge and a customer-focused mindset
  • Strategic thinker that can relate technology solutions to customer use cases
  • Demonstrated an understanding of infrastructure technologies, developer tooling, and security best practices
  • Worked collaboratively across different teams and disciplines and using qualitative and quantitative methods to solve ambiguous problems
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills
  • Track record of delivering business results
