Responsibilities:

Be the voice of the OpenGov Financials users across Finance, Payroll and Utility Billing management functions and articulate their needs.
Identify pain areas in existing customer workflows that could be built as product features and add to product capabilities
Speak at OpenGov marketing events. Meet customers to present roadmaps and gather requirements. Synthesize product strategy and build and manage an actionable product roadmap.
Write detailed business requirements and user stories that will guide product development and architecture
Work closely with the engineering and design team to regularly perform backlog grooming and specify criteria for customer acceptance
Effectively work across a cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Deployment and others)
Manage feature prioritization and trade-offs. Identify risks early in the cycle and provide timely decisions to all stakeholders.
Be comfortable with understanding technical decisions and assumptions
Periodically publish documentation on newly released product features

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a technology or related field
2 to 5 years of product management experience in a technology company
Knowledge of ERP or Payroll systems
Proven track record of successfully managing and releasing complex SaaS products
Strong knowledge of product management, scrum development and UX design principles
Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Strong presentation skills and ability to present to executive management staff

Being the product expert and working in fast paced teams
Learning from how enterprises use technology to meet their business needs
Driving product launches and releases
Using cloud technologies to drive software delivery on on a global-scale

Qualifications:

MBA
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial reporting
