Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager who can own the strategy for and the implementation of features that enable our buyers to buy products that they love at unbeatable deals. We are looking for someone with a strong eCommerce, Marketplaces or Marketing background to own the Promotions and Deals landscape. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and building features that ultimately result in the overall health of the marketplace. You will be embedded within our Engineering teams to deliver impactful initiatives that continue to grow globally!

Our team is small and nimble. We release new code multiple times a week to ensure that engineers are able to iterate quickly and make an impact immediately. They work on building features from the database level to the client. We cultivate an environment for smart, driven innovators to thrive.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with a cross-functional team to drive product roadmap, strategy, and long term vision
  • Drive new feature development from start to finish
  • Run user research, usability studies, data-driven experiments to inform product direction
  • Establish, monitor, and measure success metrics after deployment
  • Drive the strategy and roadmap of key promotions products and features.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in product management
  • Proven experience managing ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies within a product development cycle
  • Ability to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage stakeholder relationships and prioritize stakeholder requests.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity and desire to learn

Must have skills:

  • Strong understanding of the discounting landscape in eCommerce - motivations and triggers
  • Ability to relate and tie in other merchant initiatives with incentives and discounts
  • Strong understanding of customer purchase life stages and role of incentives

Should have skills:

  • Marketing technology expertise - Marketing funnel understanding and expertise
  • Data sense - Ability to wade through tons of data to arrive at a good incentive plan
  • Driving hockey stick growth

Nice to have skills:

  • Marketplaces background
