Your Impact
As a product manager for the TASER business unit of Axon, you will be responsible for creating life saving products and devices. We have done this for >25 years with our line of TASER Energy Devices and your role will be to optimize the current TASER business and our in-market devices. You will be responsible for identifying improvements in the TASER product lines based on feedback from internal and external customers and the execution of implementing those improvements through partnership with the engineering and operations teams. Your actions will directly result in lives saved and a safer society for all.
What You'll Do
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Reports to: Director of TASER Products - In Market
- Prioritize engineering activities for In Market TASER to maximize return on investment to TASER business
- Obtain Voice of Customer from calls with customers, agency visits, and attending master instructor schools to identify opportunities to improve customer experience
- Document changes to TASER products and create collateral to communicate to customers and customer facing teams
- Work cross functionally with sales, marketing and support teams to increase market adoption and improve brand awareness
- Define continuous improvement opportunities to streamline workflows and communications across departments
- Accelerate TASER adoption in international markets through coordination of international improvement projects
What You Bring
- Experience working with HW and/or SW teams on connected devices
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Bachelors degree in a technical (engineering) or business related field
- Ability to navigate complex organization and stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel for customer visits (including international)
- Prefer experience working with law enforcement, military, or other governmental agencies
- Requires eligibility to work in a firearms environment
