Pollen makes the same promise to every customer - we’re going to help them live a bigger life.

We live up to this promise by bringing tens of thousands of people together, in amazing locations all over the world, to enjoy incredible experiences with their favourite entertainers, artists and communities.

Each of our travellers at each of our experiences can download the Pollen mobile app, which gives them access to key information about their booking, their destination and their itineraries.

As such, our customer app’s In Destination features are crucial in allowing us to scale both comms and operations. The app will always help with this key strategic theme, but it also has potential to be so much more...

As PM on the In Destination team you will also seek out opportunity to build value that elevates the customer experience In Destination.

You may build functionality that allows customers to personalise their experience on the fly, connect with their fellow travellers in a whole new way, or actually help them become a part of a performance with a global star. The possibilities for innovation really don’t know any limit.

Making sure that we harness all this potential, deliver the right customer value at the right time, all while meeting our business’ strategic priorities will be down to you.

Ultimately our ambitions are to build a truly groundbreaking digital / physical experience - yours should be too.

What you’ll do in 6 months

  • Build your first quarterly roadmap - Working with design, research, data and content strategy teams you’ll create a clearly prioritised roadmap that speaks to both solving customer needs and realising our broader Collective strategy. Success looks like your team, stakeholders and the wider business all being excited by the value your roadmap will bring.
  • Contribute to our In Experience research strategy - you’ll play a pivotal role in the realisation of our In Destination research strategy. As a key consumer of the insights from our newly formed UX research team it will be your responsibility to establish deliverables and clear lines of communication that result in consistently impactful research being shared across your team and the wider business. Success means the In Destination teams research requirements are always represented whenever we run In Destination research.
  • Delivery of multiple major initiatives - the pace of Pollen is rapid, so in the first six months you will have lead your team to successfully contribute to at least two major initiatives. This means you will have run user and requirement discovery processes, collaborated with other product teams, shipped meaningful product advancements, measured the successful impact your team’s input had and communicated it to the wider org. Success looks like a meaningful causal uplift in your teams key success metrics.
  • Establish yourself as a leader in product analytics - you’ll work exceptionally closely with the data team to continually refine and improve the visibility and understanding of the performance of your product. By the end of the first six months you will have established yourself as a highly data literate member of the product org. Success means that everyone in your team and your immediate stakeholders are 100% clear on how well your product is contributing to your end goals.
  • Define an app download acquisition and experimentation strategy - working with senior product markers and other senior product managers, you’ll support wherever necessary in developing a robust app acquisition experimentation strategy. You will have been successful if at the end of your first six months you have collaborated with Product Marketing to execute app acquisition experiments, that have ultimately resulted in improvements to your key metrics.

What you’ll love

  • Communicating - articulating your ideas and winning support for the direction you want to take your product in gives you massive energy.
  • Data, insights and research - you’ll love digging deep into multiple kinds of datasets to draw out meaningful, innovative insights that you can translate into tangible product advancements.
  • Business meets customers - juggling business and customer needs to create an optimal mix of priorities is something you relish.
  • Ownership and responsibility - you’ll be super excited by the prospect of working to clear outcomes, with absolute freedom on how you go about achieving them. Embracing responsibility comes as second nature to you.
  • Being a leader who eats last - you put your team’s interests before your own, and you see success through the eyes of others.
  • Diversity and inclusion - you love working in a diverse organisation where we deeply value belonging.
