Why do we need you? As a Product Manager, you’ll directly influence Calendly’s product by owning and driving the strategy, roadmap, and vision that serves Calendly’s largest customers. This will be a dynamic role, with high demands on multitasking, communication skills, and technical knowledge.

A day in the life of a Product Manager at Calendly

In this position, you'll be reporting to our Senior Manager, Product Management - Platform Services & Trust. Our work environment thrives on collaboration, and we encourage you to apply your creativity and drive to bring fresh features and ideas to the market. You will be liaising closely with teams from Engineering, Design, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Leadership to ensure that our growth, product outcomes, and customer satisfaction goals are met.

On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Owning the product strategy and roadmap focused on enhancing Trust & Safety across the platform
  • Owning internal tools for Trust & Safety, Security and Privacy, and collaborating closely with security, legal, and support on internal tooling to make it easier for our teams to safeguard user data and maintain the integrity of our platform
  • Working closely with engineering, design, support, security, and legal teams to deliver and operationalize holistic Trust & Safety solutions; facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure product requirements are fully understood and implemented
  • Leveraging a platform services approach to design scalable and efficient Trust & Safety solutions; advocating for modular, reusable components and services that can be leveraged across the platform
  • Utilizing data analytics and user research to inform product decisions; monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Trust & Safety, and adjust product strategy based on performance and user feedback
  • Ensuring that Trust & Safety features are user-friendly and accessible; incorporating user feedback and usability testing into the product development process
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for Trust & Safety product initiatives; communicating progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders and executive leadership

What do we need from you?

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on platform products and services, ideally with experience in trust & safety, security, or privacy
  • The ability to see the big picture, identifying potential risks and opportunities for enhancing user trust and safety across the platform
  • A deep understanding of platform architecture and the principles of building scalable and reusable services
  • Strong collaboration skills, especially when it comes to working with specialized teams in Security and Legal to address complex issues
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of articulating strategies and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven product decision-making
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
