Your Impact:

As a Product Manager II - Foundations at Deliverect, you will lead the development and execution of impactful product strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

*This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our Toronto office and 2 days from the comfort of your home

What you will do:

  • Own and drive the Foundations roadmap, ensuring shared services meet the needs of all product lines (e.g., Pulse, Dispatch, Direct, etc.). (Approx. 25% of time) This involves identifying key areas for platform investment, prioritizing features based on cross-product impact and business value, and ensuring successful delivery to support Deliverect's overall product ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with design teams to scale and maintain cross-product design systems, enforcing consistency and usability across our product suite. (Approx. 20% of time) This directly impacts customer experience by ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user interface across all Deliverect offerings.
  • Work closely with engineering to prioritize technical infrastructure improvements, balancing short-term needs and long-term scalability. (Approx. 20% of time) This role will make decisions on technical debt and future-proofing, escalating significant architectural shifts to leadership when necessary.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across products for user and permission models, shared components, and internal tooling. (Approx. 15% of time) This requires strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills to bring diverse teams together and achieve consensus on foundational elements, impacting the efficiency of product development across multiple departments.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce redundancy and improve time-to-market by investing in the right foundational building blocks. (Approx. 10% of time) This role will contribute to improving product development processes and accelerating feature delivery.
  • Ensure platform foundations are adaptable to future products or acquisitions. (Approx. 5% of time) This involves creative problem-solving and innovative thinking to design flexible and extensible systems.
  • Advocate for platform excellence while balancing product delivery velocity and usability. (Approx. 5% of time) This requires clear communication with various stakeholders, including product teams and leadership, to articulate the long-term benefits of foundational investments.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS or platform-centric environments.
  • Track record of leading platform or infrastructure teams, with exposure to building scalable, reusable systems used across multiple product lines.
  • Experience working across multiple squads and departments, including engineering, design, product marketing, and customer success.
  • Proven ability to drive design system adoption and UX consistency across a suite of products, demonstrating strong problem-solving and innovation skills to create consistent and improved customer experiences.
  • Strong understanding of user lifecycle, authentication flows, and permissions models.
  • Experience with B2B or multi-tenant applications and how platform foundations impact customer-facing experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into clear product value propositions, showcasing excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple domains.

  • Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with API design, platform architecture, or microservices.
  • Exposure to product-led growth strategies or internal enablement tooling.
  • Prior work in international or high-growth tech scale-ups.
  • Understanding of compliance, security, and governance standards relevant to shared platform domains.
