Product Manager II - Data Visualization

Datadog’s visualizations are used across nearly every page in the product, empowering customers to understand and take action on issues in their technology stack. As the Product Manager for Data Visualization at Datadog, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for cutting-edge visualization tools used across all Datadog products. You will lead a team of engineers and designers that enables our customers to transform complex datasets into intuitive and actionable insights.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and execute on a roadmap for visualizations at Datadog
• Create and execute on a roadmap to simplify querying experiences and engage non-technical users
• Build an analytical framework and detailed telemetry for tracking success 
• Ensure that Datadog’s visualization suite continues to scale as we move into new business areas (like Product Analytics)
• Collaborate deeply with our talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers
• Act as a subject matter expert on data visualization and querying, evangelizing its usage at Datadog, and providing guidance to other product teams
• Bring a creative and ambitious approach to product development

Who You Are: 

• You have 2+ years of working experience as a product manager or practitioner in data analytics or graphing tools, ideally at a SaaS/B2B company
• You have domain knowledge of data visualization, design, business intelligence
• You are empathetic and understanding in collaborating with peers and customers
• You have sharp communications and the willingness to present your ideas to technical stakeholders and executives alike
• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
• Located in NYC
