The Commerce and Customer Service Platform studio within Freemium is on a mission to power the Commerce experience for all verticals at Spotify and data sits at the heart of it!

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager to join the Data Product team in the Platform Access and Lifecycle Management product area. The team works with large and numerous Commerce datasets of Spotify’s 100s of millions of users and is responsible for delivering business-critical data for reporting, forecasting, and analytics to R&D and business teams in Spotify.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy of how we handle our growing data products for the Commerce and Customer Service Platform studio, establish a standardized process and operating model for data producers and consumers, through datasets, infrastructure, tooling and expertise and be a strong advocate of data best practices.

You will work alongside a passionate and creative group of Data Engineers and partner with multiple domain squads across the studio. This is a highly visible and rewarding role with the potential to make an immediate positive impact in an area directly involved in some of Spotify's top pivotal initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Set the vision and strategy for the commerce data platform.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and a skilled team of cross-functional peers to define a roadmap that balances developing the data platform, meeting current business needs, managing technical debt, and unlocking new opportunities.
  • Demonstrate and help instill platform thinking and user-focused development practices across the studio.
  • Partner with the squad to deliver critical platform capabilities with speed and quality.

Who you are

  • You are experienced in working with product development and you are data-obsessed.
  • You have a proven track record of building platforms used by large ecosystems of users and businesses.
  • You are experienced in crafting clear product requirements based on research, data, and insights.
  • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas to team members at all levels.
  • You can influence and partner effectively across all levels of an organization and regularly use these skills to improve the work going on around you.
  • You know how to inspire, motivate and support a team to get things done.
  • Experience leading and working with agile development teams.
