As SurveyMonkey continues its journey to $1B+ in revenue, we are seeking a data-driven Product Manager with a strong background in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to lead our efforts in optimizing the conversion funnel across the SurveyMonkey website. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of conceptualizing, executing, and analyzing web experiments that drive measurable improvements in user engagement and conversion rates. Reporting to the Manager of Web Experience & Growth, the Product Manager, CRO, will play a critical role in enhancing the overall user experience and driving business growth on the website globally.

What you’ll be working on

  • Develop and execute comprehensive global web growth strategies to optimize user journeys and maximize conversion rates across SurveyMonkey's digital channels.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis of user behavior to identify areas for CRO improvement and potential growth opportunities.
  • Lead the optimization of landing pages, forms, calls-to-action, and user flows to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Define clear and measurable experiment objectives, generate hypotheses, and design A/B and multivariate tests to validate hypotheses.
  • Analyze experiment results and present findings to key stakeholders, drawing actionable insights and recommendations to inform future optimization efforts.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, tracking progress toward CRO goals and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in CRO, user experience, and web optimization, incorporating new insights into ongoing strategies.
  • Monitor competitor websites and conduct industry benchmarking to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 2+ years in conversion rate optimization, web experimentation, and A/B testing, ideally within an e-commerce, SaaS, or technology-driven company.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in using web analytics and experimentation tools (such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, etc.) to design and analyze experiments.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for optimizing user experiences and achieving tangible business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards identifying and addressing challenges.
  • SaaS experience is highly preferred, particularly with self-serve, freemium business models. 

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $91,970 / year - $124,430 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
