We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is interested in playing a critical role in the future of our HR Applications team and processes at Reddit.  You’ll have the opportunity to own and drive various enhancements in Workday and other business applications, many of which will require you to work cross functionally across multiple HR, IT & business teams at Reddit. You’ll partner with a world class organization of Technology & Business leaders across the company to evaluate prioritization, tradeoffs and risks related to the various projects on our roadmap. Our business applications organization includes functional and technical team members to deploy new and optimized applications, automations, and integrations in a compliant, scalable, and secure manner. 

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a proven track record and passion in the HR Applications - Workday space, fostering deep partnership and alignment with various business and IT system owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with our Workday customers’ internal roadmaps to drive feature enhancements and automations for core HCM processes
  • Facilitate cross-functional requirements sessions to gather, document, and analyze product requirements and functional specs  
  • Lead the configuration within Workday and other key dependency systems in collaboration with other system owners (Greenhouse, NetSuite, Adaptive, IT, Finance)
  • Develop proof of concepts and lead demonstrations to help influence solutions that will support long term scalability within Workday
  • Provide operational support maintaining security access requests, data loads (EIB’s), workflow modifications, custom organizations, reporting, and general HCM process administration
  • Support  reporting requests including the development of basic calculated fields; thoroughly tests and validates reporting for accuracy before deploying to production
  • Lead user acceptance testing and train our internal partners
  • Monitor feature releases in preparation for Workday’s semi-annual upgrades; collaborate with internal partners to plan, test, and deploy process changes
  • Develop and maintain user guides for employees, managers, and internal process owners
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT to troubleshoot errors, identify root causes, and plan remediation
  • Adhere to change management controls by documenting work, rigorously testing, and planning deployments in conjunction with other key dependencies
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships

An ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in Workday 
  • Hands-on experience with designing and supporting a variety of basic configurations within Workday and understanding key downstream impacts throughout the system
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HCM business processes related to employee lifecycle, custom organizations, cost centers, and EIB data loads
  • Experience with modifying security groups and security policy domains; ability to research and troubleshoot user security access issues
  • Basic to intermediate experience creating custom reports and calculated fields
  • Understanding of SOX controls and change management processes
  • Prior knowledge and experience working in sprints and following Agile methodology is helpful
  • Strong work ethic and accountability to make sure project goes well, being equally comfortable taking personal ownership of multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong desire to learn and take on new challenges to support the growth and success of our Workday ecosystem
