About the job
As a Product Manager on the Homes team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a greenfield product within Hopper’s $1B+ travel ecosystem. Our goal is to guarantee that customers will get the best price and/or flexibility on a vacation rental when booking through Hopper than anywhere else, while ensuring a best-in-class customer service experience.
Product Managers for Hopper Homes will own one of three tracks — Pricing, Supplier Onboarding & Engagement, and Service Automation. The Pricing PM will be responsible for building out metasearch in the vacation home market (something that’s never been done before), which involves ensuring that we always book the customer with the supplier that provides the lowest price and dynamically price match. The Supplier Onboarding & Engagement PM will build tools to streamline the onboarding process for new inventory, as well as create analytical tools and services to manage performance. The Service Automation PM will automate the customer service experience both pre- and post-booking, and enable seamless communication between our customers and property owners.
Product Managers at Hopper are “smart creatives” who obsess over the customer and use data to prove to create best-in-class experiences. As a Product Manager, you will work at the intersection of software development, data science, and user experience to solve real customer problems and create unique value.  You will need to dive deep into the data and develop an understanding of the competitive travel landscape to ground the basis for new product features. On any given day — whether you’re surveying customers to better understand their needs, partnering with engineering to scope a feature down to the MVP, or combing through data for new insights — your contribution will be critical to Hopper’s current and future success.
