ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is seeking an experienced Product Manager, Hardware to help drive development and innovation for Peloton fitness products. This person will serve as the voice of the user through the product development lifecycle and develop, design, test, and launch products and features that drive growth in sales and engagement. This person will report to the Director, Product Management, and work in partnership with design, engineering, program management, operations and business teams.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Develop a deep understanding of our members. Advocate for solutions based on their needs and pain points. 
  • Contribute to and execute on the product roadmap, supporting NPI and sustaining programs.
  • Define product requirements, including available markets, pricing, features and performance goals. Masterfully communicate these product requirements to the development team in both written and presentation form. 
  • Use data and member insights to inform decisions. 
  • Collaborate with industrial design on user experience and feature implementation.
  • Collaborate with engineering to translate product requirements into engineering requirements and testing criteria. 
  • Collaborate with program management to scope, plan, and execute to cost, timeline, and performance goals.
  • Own user testing and feedback at each development phase, including field testing prior to launch.
  • Collaborate with marketing on product value proposition, member-facing specifications, and support content prior to launch.
  • Monitor and report on product performance after launch. Analyze insights to prioritize sustaining improvements and inform next generation product requirements.
  • Bring knowledge of hardware and electronics development, including development process, materials, manufacturing, testing, firmware, regulatory compliance, and packaging. 
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience developing consumer electronic hardware products
  • Experience collaborating with software to develop holistic user-centered product experiences.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, able to identify and communicate product strategy to align teams across the organization, across the globe, and in partner companies
  • Proven ability to use data to facilitate decision making
  • Experience working with overseas partners in development programs
  • Highly collaborative and willing to give and accept constructive feedback
  • Ability to create strong user-centered consumer experiences
  • Self starter; able to act autonomously, anticipate and highlight program and product issues to the team before they happen
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Deep attention to detail, get the little things right in addition to the big picture

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$136,300$177,300 USD
