Product Manager

About the role

You will be taking the lead in scaling our first product in the UK. Working with teams from engineering, insurance, credit and data science to deliver immediate value for our first cohort of members going through fertility treatments. You will define, prioritise and communicate short, mid and long term goals of the product. Success is a product selling well as measured by number of new members, high conversion of funnel, low cost of customer acquisition and most importantly, customer satisfaction measured by NPS. The role also requires working with legal and compliance teams to ensure zero tolerance of any compliance issue or breach of regulatory requirements.

About you 

• You are a thoughtful and empathetic person who thinks holistically about the customer journey. In our case, that includes actual fertility treatments (outside of the digital only experience)
• You have experience in consumer facing financial and / or healthcare products 
• You have experience with doing competitive research and market analysis. You have a good grasp of where the market is going and can identify impactful opportunities
• You can run user research and do some basic data analysis to validate assumptions
• You set ambitious goals for the team and make sure that they drive value for users and for the business
• You are a strong communicator with the ability to hear all voices in the room and make a weighted decision 
• You are passionate about building 0 to 1 products and are not blocked by “analysis paralysis” when you don’t have enough data. You find ways to move fast and unblock the team
• You are self-driven and organised 

Your responsibilities will include

• Work cross-functionally with the CEO, engineering, design and operations teams to deliver our first product to market
• Build. Make changes. Ship. Fast, iteratively, and in control
• Grow the number of memberships to 750 in 12 months
• Develop and manage our first product roadmap
• Identify opportunities for an adjacent product
• Build a product function in the company
• Develop a long-term roadmap for the product and continue growing our membership base
• Documenting all decisions

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record of shipping impactful products
• Passionate about building value for customers measured by NPS 
• Comfortable in taking an MVP approach and doing what’s good enough for now with for iterative changes to follow
• UI/ UX principle knowledge with deep customer focus by understanding customer behaviour and analysing data & real world experience
• A deeply analytical mindset and track record for making data driven decisions 
• An eye for copy and how it drives user experience
• Experience using Notion as a Wiki
• Current work authorization required
