Want to help everyday Americans build wealth? Financial inequality is increasing and too many people are getting left behind. At Stash, we believe in the power of simplifying investing, making it easy and affordable for everyday Americans to build wealth and achieve their financial goals.

We’re one of the fastest growing fintechs in the U.S. and have had another record-breaking year. In 2021 we almost doubled our headcount and valuation. Our personal finance app makes investing easy and affordable; this year 6 million customers set aside more than $3 billion with Stash.

Prioritizing People is one of our core values and has been key to a healthy work-life balance and a great sense of fulfillment and inclusion. We employ a true people first - hybrid model. Live and work where you feel the most productive, whether that is in your home, in an office, or a combination of both. Anywhere in the US or UK.

Let’s solve complex problems and tackle wealth inequality.

Stash is looking for a Product Manager to join our Funding Integrations team to deliver first in class external account support and funding capabilities to the Stash platform. This role will help support our customers in one of the most critical moments of their investment journey - adding funds to the platform to get started.

Our ideal candidate has proven experience launching successful software products that require 3rd party integrations and take a user-centered approach to product development, considering both internal and external customer experiences.

This role will allow you to shape strategy for what types of funding methods we allow, to whom, and for what purposes. Whether it is buying an investment or paying your subscription - we want Stash to meet our customers where they are and help them achieve their financial goals seamlessly. If you are an open communicator with a passion for data-driven decision making, Stash is looking for you!

What you'll do:

  • Synthesize and juggle inputs/ideas from across the organization, turning suggestions and critiques into potential outcomes and solutions
  • Analyze data and leverage qualitative feedback loops to gain meaningful insights and identify opportunities
  • Manage the team’s roadmap and backlog, ensuring prioritization and planning supports company / team objectives
  • Collaborate across the organization (Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to deliver solutions that the whole team can be proud of and learn from
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors in the funding integration space to ensure the delivery and maintenance of high-quality user experiences
  • Define specifications in a straightforward, understandable and detailed fashion
  • Manage projects in a highly organized, flexible manner while staying focused on mission-critical scope
  • Communicate openly across the team and org regarding the status of projects in development, as well as results post-launch

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ years working in product management
  • Experience working in fintech/banking/personal finance, specifically in payments or external account aggregation and integration. For example: Plaid, Yodlee, debit rails.
  • Experience working on products with both internal- and external-customer focus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Knowledge of technical microservices architecture
  • A proven track record of launching and iterating on successful products
  • An open mind, flexibility around testing new approaches and the ability to harness failures and turn them into wins
