KAYAK is looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Berlin, Germany! You will support our team in understanding and translating our travelers’ needs into smart, tailored and flawless experiences that will unify the user experience and UI across platforms, verticals and markets that our users love!

Join us and help identify, define and deploy features and improvements that will deliver a phenomenal end-to-end travel experience for KAYAK’s millions of users. This role requires a proven understanding of consumer behavior and an ability to work closely with many teams to iterate on and prioritize features. The successful candidate will be an experienced communicator and multi-tasker, have a dedication to crafting thoughtful UX on both web and mobile platforms and be very comfortable using A/B experiments to test ideas. The candidate will combine strategic and operational skills to improve and grow our KAYAK products.

This position will report to the Group Product Manager of the EU Core Product Crew and will be required to work from our Berlin office at least 3 days a week.

In this role, you will:

• Help KAYAK be your smartest travel partner by identifying and addressing known gaps in functionality, user experience and user interface.
• Establish and prioritize user problems and feature specifications across multiple verticals, brands, locales and platforms.
• Promote the conceptualization, design and implementation of product improvements that solve our users’ problems in meaningful ways, weighing impact against business goals and technical feasibility.
• Keep the team informed and aligned, as product and project manager, communicating across departments (product, design, engineering, commercial, marketing, PR, customer support) and with the Executive/Leadership team, many of whom are located in different offices and time zones.
• Measure the success of product changes and pursue relevant metrics and opportunities our data, user research and A/B experiment results might reveal.
• Work with customer support and UX to collect feedback from and respond to users.
• Monitor competitive landscape and stay informed about both travel and e-commerce spaces, and our latest capabilities across multiple platforms.

Please apply if you have:

• At least 2+ years product management experience in consumer tech
• A consumer mentality and an e-commerce and B2C background.
• Regular traveler experience and know first-hand the challenges our users encounter.
• Specific experience in supporting and leading product execution, including a demonstrated ability to cultivate products and drive to key decisions
• Excellent at product development process understanding, adoption and evangelization.
• Strong analytical skills including a solid understanding of product testing methodologies.
• Skills with documentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels of an organization, across different cultures and timezones.
• Understanding of how to align product opportunities with business goals and support that with thoughtful decisions.
• BS/BA required.
