Product Manager (Firmware)

Mission

Airtame is looking for a Product Manager to join our firmware team in Copenhagen. We’re on a mission to become the preferred platform for shared screens in organizations. The Airtame firmware is an essential component that allows us to improve collaboration for thousands of schools and businesses.

As a Product Manager, you will manage and support the development of our Linux-based OS by collaborating across the organization to scope and prioritize software investments. 

Headquartered in Copenhagen, with offices in Budapest and New York, we pride ourselves on strong company culture and collaborative working spirit. You will engage with colleagues and customers across these key markets to continue to improve and innovate.

Outcome for the next 12 months

• Be responsible for the end-to-end discovery and delivery of everything related to the Airtame firmware. 
• Build a compelling product roadmap based on customer needs, resources, and strategic opportunities.
• Prioritize new features, bug fixes, and technical debt and write clear requirements for prioritized work.
• Ensure the successful launch of everything the team ships.
• Assist the Engineering and Design peers with the planning and the execution of their development sprints.
• Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to align the organization about why and what your team is building.
• Prioritize and conduct user research together with designers and our user research team.
• Work closely with the VP of Product to define the mid-term roadmap objectives, research investments & product direction.
• Play a role of a key stakeholder in the development of our next exciting hardware devices.

Competencies

• Project management experience working with agile methodologies and backlog management, either as product manager/product owner.
• Experience using quantitative data (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (e.g., user feedback).
• Ability to analyze data by writing SQL queries and using data analysis tools.
• Technical background with hands-on experience in software development.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration to get an organization working together towards strategic objectives.
• Great analytical and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
