Product Manager - Fintech

About The Role

Tradeshift is looking for an outstanding US-based Product Manager with fintech experience to join our network based finance product team. You will be a key member of an international, cross-functional and self-driven product team that includes engineers, designers, user researchers and product managers.

We want every company in our network to take control of their cashflow, based on insights from network and marketplaces - linking finance, cards, wallets and in-network payments. The Cash team builds end user experience for managing working capital, integrations with financing partners, payments infrastructure, and internal operations and support apps. Our services are used by companies ranging from fortune 500 enterprises to micro businesses. 

You enjoy engaging with customers directly to ensure your product’s roadmap is aligned with their needs, including defining and analyzing metrics to support decisions made. You will understand how the technical solutions contribute to realizing a broader vision, and that you have a passion for collaborating with many different people to achieve a goal.

• Act as the product owner for one or more of our Fintech teams 

• Define the vision for the product through a road map and near term backlog

• Based on market and competitive knowledge and through input from internal stakeholders, regularly prioritize the backlog

• Through data driven insights, evaluate and communicate effectiveness of features released and make follow up recommendations

• Challenge traditional solutions for customer problems by proposing disruptive solutions to create value based on the Tradeshift network

• Maintain awareness of the market landscape as it relates to how enterprise supply chains get connected and interact with each other

• Minimum 5 years of product management or relevant entrepreneurial experience in the financial services space, delivered as a cloud service.

• Experience delivering UX solutions and working with design teams.

• Good understanding of B2B financing including one or more of Supply Chain Finance, Factoring, Credit, Loans

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Preferably Science degree,  or combinations of Finance/ economics with CS or information management;  MBA preferred
