The Product organization is at the forefront of Brex's mission to reimagine financial systems so all growing businesses can realize their full potential. We identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. We work cross-functionally with teams at Brex across engineering, legal, compliance, design, and many more to set strategy, define a roadmap, and drive products from inception to launch to ensure Brex continues to evolve for the benefit of our customers.

We are hiring an experienced product manager to drive our Financial Connections efforts. This individual will own the product strategy and roadmap for Brex’s financial sources platform across our infrastructure. This is a critical and high visibility role and as such, a individual in this role should enjoy spending significant time both with senior internal stakeholders on strategic roadmap discussions, with internal developers understanding current pain points and needs, with engineering leaders identifying opportunities to improve our core systems and addressing customer use cases. 

Responsibilities:

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Brex’s financial sources and connections infrastructure
• Must be advocate for best possible experience for:connecting accounts, maintaining accounts, optimizing for performance, addressing stale accounts
• Manage external facing relationships (vendors like aggregators)
• Well versed in reading APIs and sharing information with team
• Manage internal relationships; financial connections fuel a lot of services Brex uses, serve as exceptional cross-functional partner to understand what is being built vis-a-vis the limitations of existing platform capabilities
• Ability Articulate future needs and trade-offs
• Efficiently execute to ship features and deliver impact for our business and customers
• Define new products and features by working closely with business development, partners, other product teams, data and operations
• Communicate concisely and influence outcomes across Engineering, Data, Operations, Partners and other Product teams.

What We Value:

• Product experience: 3+ years of PM experience
• Expertise: You’ve worked on large-scale financial platforms or built products that scale. You are equally excited about working on achieving highly reliable, well-designed APIs and the impact of financial platforms on the customer-facing experience 
• Analytical: Aptitude for digging deep into the data, thinking from first principles, and delivering the best results.
• Team-first: The team comes first and you have proven experience working well with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders
• Crisp communicator: High attention to detail including precise and effective communications around technical concepts, including the ability to translate technical concepts into easy to understand explanations with external customers/partners
• Results-oriented: You enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects
• Entrepreneurial spirit: Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, deals well with ambiguity and focuses on driving impact
