Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Financial Connections is building new products that expand the scope of problems we tackle beyond payments and into the rest of the financial stack. We are building a way for individuals and businesses (i.e. account holders) to seamlessly share their financial data with Stripe and our merchants to receive better product experiences. We have an ambitious end goal to allow global businesses to run their entire financial life cycle on Stripe, and we want you to be part of our story.

What you’ll do

As the Product Manager for Customer UX within our Financial Connections team, you are the champion of our end-customers’ end-to-end experience. You will look after all customer facing surfaces including services where consumers link their financial accounts as well as dashboards where customers can manage all of their connections. These are live across surfaces (checkout pages, onboarding for merchants) and platforms (web and mobile). This team is heavily user and consumer focused. You will interact both cross-functionally with other teams at Stripe as well as externally with our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively partner with other Stripe teams (engineering, design, legal, etc.) early in the product development lifecycle and jointly shape product plans that lead with delightful experiences
  • Be the voice of the end-customer both within Financial Connections and more broadly at Stripe
  • Help set an ambitious roadmap for product development and expansion for Customer UX
  • Work closely with our customers, product teams, and cross functional partners to build a comprehensive and frictionless experience for our users
  • Discover net new parts of our business and lead them from nascent stages to maturity

Who you are

We're looking for someone who:

  • Brings 5-10 years of experience in a product role (ideally working on consumer facing products)
  • Has an obsession over product quality and an eye for design, specifically an intuition for good user flows and user experiences
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
  • Can put themselves in the shoes of their users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
  • Takes an ownership mindset and works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users
  • Can dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results
