We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to help support automations related to our Order to Cash processes, including Managed Ads billing and Direct to Consumer revenue. This role will be under the Finance Internal Products team, which falls within the broader IT Business Applications team. 

As Product Manager, Finance Systems, you will be a shared owner of the vision for Reddit’s finance internal products and point person for cross functional projects that need your expertise. The ideal candidate loves working with internal customers across Finance, Accounting, Engineering and Sales to help execute on roadmap items and help them be successful. 

The ideal candidate is also extremely knowledgeable about finance processes and is excited about automating tasks to unlock business value, while having an analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal communications and diligent time management skills. Experience with ad revenues, subscriptions and revenue recognition concepts are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute product vision and strategy for our Finance Internal Customers’ roadmaps, particularly our revenue, sales and billing customers which includes figuring out how we can support revenue and billing initiatives for new product offerings, and how we can help our customers meet their internal metrics.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, Engineering, Sales and other internal stakeholders to drive the execution of a comprehensive suite of revenue focused launches, spanning the gamut from iterative improvements to brand new launches
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional requirement sessions to gather, document, and analyze product requirements and functional specs. Able to make tradeoffs on requirements versus platform capabilities and chart a path forward with the team.
  • Drive design and system configuration within NetSuite, Tray.io and other key financial/sales systems in collaboration with other teams.
  • Draw from your experience to recommend changes in development, maintenance and system functionality that improves the team and our users’ experience while delivering increased automation and long term scalability
  • Assist in the ongoing administration of NetSuite and other Finance platforms as part of a team effort -- create/ modify user roles and permissions, workflows, custom fields, custom records, dashboards, advanced templates, multibook entities, searches, reporting changes, related administration duties, etc
  • Own the platform, managing technical debt, coordinating release upgrade activity and responding to issues and incidents that drive our global finance operations for NetSuite and other Finance platforms
  • Support key month / quarter end close processes, rolling up sleeves as needed to support our internal customers

An ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, IT, or other analytics-related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in NetSuite and other Business Systems (Salesforce, Expensify)
  • NetSuite ERP certification, other tools a plus
  • Strong experience with designing and supporting integrations between NetSuite and other business systems such as Salesforce, Adaptive Insights, FloQast, etc.
  • Understanding of both usage and subscription revenue models, and implications to revenue recognition models
  • Understanding of key financial business processes (Quote to Cash in particular, but understanding of Procure-to-Pay, Record to Report processes as well)
  • Worked on initiatives to integrate NetSuite with large systems and custom products
  • Basic understanding of SOX controls and IT change management processes
  • Strong work ethic and accountability to make sure project goes well, being equally comfortable taking personal ownership for a task or delegating it to another team member
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align a diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal.
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior knowledge and experience working in sprints and following Agile methodology
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work effectively in a fast paced and fluid environment
  • Knowledge of SQL, ability to create and review queries that are basic to intermediate in nature
