Who we are

About Statsig

Statsig is on a mission to fundamentally change how software is built, tested, and shipped. Thousands of companies use Statsig to deploy features safely, run experiments that drive understanding of their customers and business, and analyze user trends to inform their next investment areas. This isn't just about building a better A/B testing tool; this is about catalyzing positive change in how builders build, ultimately resulting in better products and happier customers!

About the Team

Experimentation is Statsig’s marquee product, and serves as the “front door” for most customers onto the Statsig platform. We pride ourselves on having the most advanced product experimentation offering on the market today, available in both a hosted (Statsig Cloud) deployment mode or native to customers’ warehouses (Statsig Warehouse Native).

Statsig’s Experimentation team is constantly working to push the boundaries of product experimentation tooling, integrating cutting-edge statistical methods that enable our customers to run more accurate experiments, faster, and constantly leveling up our experimentation tooling to decrease the friction of scaling experimentation across teams.

What you’ll do

As Statsig’s Experimentation PM, you will be responsible for building the best experimentation platform on the planet.

You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including our customers and other internal teams to support new experimentation methodologies and tooling. You will stay close to Experimentation sales deals and track competitive platforms to ensure Statsig is keeping its edge in the experimentation space and we are evolving the platform to meet our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own managing and prioritizing the backlog of customer requests, product improvements, and new experiment types and methodologies for Statsig’s Experimentation product line

  • As a product line owner, define Experimentation ICP, jobs-to-be-done, and key use-cases for internal (Sales Enablement) and external (Product Marketing) use

  • Build an intuitive product that can simplify complex experimentation concepts, enabling everyone on the product team to participate in creating, running, and analyzing experiments

  • Own tracking and reporting Quarterly Experimentation roadmap and OKRs

  • Own the product strategy for how Statsig maintains its edge in Experimentation vs. competitors

  • Own Experimentation documentation, ensuring that Experimentation features are well-documented and customers can self-serve debugging issues if/ when they arise

  • Actively drive Slack conversations with customers relevant to Experimentation; build relationships with customers and leverage customers who are Experimentation enthusiasts to inform product roadmap

Who you are

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is an experimentation enthusiast and has either built/ worked with internal experimentation tooling or run an experimentation-heavy team (e.g. a growth team) in their previous life.

If you enjoy simplifying technical concepts into clear UI/ UX, interacting regularly with customers, and are a bit of a stats nerd, this is the job for you! This job will also require having a strong prioritization muscle and being willing/ able to say “no” to ensure Statsig’s Experimentation product evolves in a thoughtful way vs. succumbs to feature bloat.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a PM working in an experimentation-heavy area, whether on internal experimentation tooling or a growth team

  • Excellence obsessed product builder; you have strong attention to detail and value delivering high-quality, intuitive product experiences

  • Strong written & oral communication skills, for both internal and customer-facing communication

  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity; strong 0 → 1 thinker who isn’t intimidated by a vague, high-level mandate and can paint a picture to rally teams around a vision

  • Track record of leading end-to-end projects from inception through to completion, with clear product and project management leadership and value delivered throughout

  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week from our Bellevue, WA office.

Please note that this job description is subject to change and may not include all responsibilities or qualifications required for the role of Experimentation PM at Statsig.
