Product Manager, Events, Files job at Fivetran

As a product manager for the data connectors team, you will have ownership for the events, files & functions connectors at Fivetran. Your vision, execution, and collaboration towards business-critical goals creates successful products that make analysts more productive and look like superheroes to their teams.

As a Product Manager, Events, Files and Functions at Fivetran, you will:

Manage a portfolio of products and contribute to strategic decisions on growing and improving that portfolio, including optimizing revenue
Learn what questions analysts are trying to answer, decide what data sources they need and design great data schemas to drive analytical success
Oversee quality assurance of the data and ensure we prioritize the fixes
Collaborate with analytics to create pre-built reporting on top of the data in collaboration with our key BI partners
Work directly with multiple engineering teams and a data analytics team to ensure Fivetran is delivering the highest quality data possible
Your guiding metric will be the volume of data flowing through Fivetran

What you bring to the table:

Great data design excites you!
Hands-on experience working with cloud functions (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions/GCP Cloud Functions)
Experience in product management or product ownership
Familiarity with leading user research discussions
Proven track record of shipping data products that deliver measurable results.
Proven ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems.
Demonstrated experience using data and analytical abilities to help solve problems and make decisions.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with a confirmed ability to influence partners.
High technical and analytical acumen.
Advanced experience with SQL.

Nice-to-haves (optional):

Prior experience as a software engineer or data engineer
Experience working on products that are geared for technical users
History of working in a high-growth company
