About the Role:

We are looking for a product leader with a technical background in software product engineering to help shape and deliver on our vision of building the frontend cloud and giving developers the frameworks, workflows, and infrastructure to build a faster, more personalized Web. The Product Manager for our Ship division will lead the product management for our compute products, including Serverless Functions, Edge Functions, and Edge Middleware.

You should be passionate and knowledgeable about compute platforms, storage products, and how they interact. You should also be embedded in open-source communities and knowledgeable about JavaScript runtimes, Serverless and Edge Functions, JavaScript and WebAssembly.

What You Will Do:

• Help shape and deliver on our vision to empower teams around the world to build and ship secure, performant applications and create rich end-user experiences
• Work with customers to understand requirements for our compute products, and related products.
• Work with Engineering and Technical Project Management to scope and prioritise projects based on business and customer requirements.
• Work with other departments throughout the company to ensure that everyone is enabled to sell and support our products with customers.
• Experiment, test the status quo, and challenge norms in the name of delivering customer value
• Report on the health of the products to executive leadership

About You:

• Experience building cloud compute and storage products and features
• Technical background in software engineering
• Experience working on open source projects and in open source communities
• Knowledgeable about networking, storage products, and container orchestration platforms
• Knowledgeable about JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly
• Knowledgeable about JavaScript runtimes including V8, Node.js and WinterCG-compatible runtimes
• Knowledgeable about serverless computing and edge computing platforms
• Experience building cloud-based security-oriented SaaS network and computing products and features
