Tessian

Tessian protects every business’s mission by securing the human layer 💫

We're building intelligent security that works for human beings as they are, not how security policies would like them to be. Using machine learning technology, Tessian automatically predicts and eliminates advanced threats on email caused by human error - like data exfiltration, accidental data loss, business email compromise and phishing attacks - with minimal disruption to employees' workflow. As a result, employees are empowered to do their best work, without security getting in their way. You can read more about Human Layer Security here.

Tessian has raised a $74m Series C led by renowned security investors, March Capital (Crowdstrike, Knowbe4), with follow-on from Sequoia, Accel, Balderton, Latitude, Okta, Sozo, Citi & Schroder Adveq, to further our mission to secure the human layer.

Founded in 2013, Tessian is backed by world-class venture capital investors, has hubs in London, San Francisco, Boston, and Austin, and London, and is one of the Top-3 2021 Best Places to Work for Women.

Product Management at Tessian

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the team at Tessian.

This is an opportunity for someone to either take their first step into product management or to build on an existing product management career.

Product managers at Tessian own a product or area of the platform. Within this area, they are responsible for a) delighting customers and b) driving Tessian’s growth. Product managers work with engineering, data science, and product design to discover,  shape, and ship new products and functionality, and with Tessian’s go to market teams to make their product successful.

For this role specifically, we are looking for a motivated, driven Product Manager to join our Enterprise team. You will drive Tessians growth around areas of security governance, Integrations, APIs and other exciting domains. The role often requires you to work collaboratively across teams and PMs to solve our customer needs. You create meaningful connections between our customers and our technical teams. Whilst there is no need to be an engineer, you can actively engage with technical stakeholders and are willing to ask questions where you need clarification. You have a customer centric mindset, while being curious about the development of the security industry as a whole.

We’re open to applicants with or without extensive product management experience - if you have previously been working either in a security related role that’s a bonus! Experience in B2B SaaS is preferred.

As a Product Manager you will:

  • Connect with customers through product discovery, feedback sessions and roadmap reviews.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of designers, engineers and product peers to create the best user experience.
  • Discover, scope, plan and drive implementation of key security and governance solutions for all email security modules and empower even the largest enterprises to manage email security with ease.
  • Ownership of our continued investment in integrations and a robust API: Email is just one part of our customers many security needs. Thinking beyond our platform and how integrations can create the most effective value journeys for our customers.
  • Participate and contribute in agile ceremonies of your team, resolve dependencies on other teams and support the team in achieving successful outcomes.
  • Own the launch of features, including enabling our sales and support teams. Measure the success of your launch by running betas and tracking adoption metrics and customer feedback.
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy, generate important insights through relationships with product marketing, customer success and sales and support other teams in making the right priorities for meeting criteria suitable for the enterprise.
