Product Manager: Engagement and Retention (Android) (Zing)

Zing AI Coach is a digital fitness companion app that can make a fitness program for you and motivate, educate, and help you achieve your fitness goals. 2 years ago, we launched the company to create the first AI-powered fitness product to replace the personal trainer's function and successfully succeeded with that vision. We develop breakthrough AI solutions that combine deep knowledge of the user's condition with comprehensive competencies in fitness.

Zing Coach is seeking a talented full-time  Product Manager to join our Android team for Engagement and Retention. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our apps developing habit-forming experiences for customer loyalty and fitness success.

Responsibilities

• Understand the core segments and behavioral personas of fitness customers

• Deliver on a retention-led growth strategy that leverages key competitive differentiators to drive customer and business impact

• Prioritize and execute the product roadmap to personalize the app experience and increase customer engagement

• Collaborate closely with AI teams, UX Research, Data Analytics, UX/UI Design, CRM, User Acquisition, Marketing, business leadership, etc. for roadmap alignment

• Work closely with Engineering for quality and timely delivery of new features

• Be hands-on with generating data insights and qualitative feedback to drive decisions for product innovation

We expect that you have

• Experience: 2-3 years as Product Manager for consumer-facing apps

  • Bonus: Worked on retention-driven growth, ideally for personal development apps (fitness, health, education), gaming apps, or apps with natural habit cycles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to influence and work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

• Knowledge and experience with best practices of agile and scrum product development

• Excellent project management and organizational abilities
