Working at Atlassian

Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Atlassian is looking for a Product Manager to join our Cloud Ecosystem team in Poland (EMEA). We're looking for a software Product Manager to help build world-class extensibility for Atlassian Products with a focus on Jira. As an Ecosystem Product Manager, you will be on a mission to unleash the potential in every team by helping our customers extend their Atlassian Cloud products, without trading off on security or reliability.

Our goal is to make Jira and other Atlassian products a powerful and easy-to-use platform for app development. On top of that, we focus on making the platform cater to the needs of Enterprise customers with security and compliance standards - we will make sure they feel safe building their own apps and installing 3rd party apps.

More about you
You love working with customers and building amazing products that our customers love. You have prior success in developing a roadmap for a software product or product area. You can inspire a team by setting clear goals, making decisions, and communicating crisply to all audiences. Prior experience with software ecosystems and interaction with developer communities is welcome.

You will get to
Work with customers and Atlassian Marketplace Partners to understand their product experience regarding extensibility
Get your "hands dirty" with Engineering teams to understand the nuts and bolts of Atlassian products' extensibility and any constraints implied.

Implement product improvements and projects that balance requirements gathered from customers, partners, market analysis, and broader company strategy.

Manage the roadmap, backlog, and incoming extensibility needs, and define success metrics
Form relationships with engineers, designers, support, and other customer-facing teams to deliver outstanding solutions to tricky problems and report directly to the Group Product Manager

On your first day, we will expect you to have

  • Ability to prioritize among opportunities, balancing the needs of our customers with those of our business, and communicate the rationale behind your decisions
  • Technical fluency and experience translating complex technical projects into clear, concrete, customer-facing product goals
  • True obsession for customers – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems
  • Product management experience at a fast-growing software company
  • Excellent written and spoken English

It's great but not required if you have:

  • 3+ years of software product management experience, with a focus on Enterprise
  • Prior experience with software ecosystems and interaction with developer communities
  • Previous experience in the fields of project management, collaboration, and enterprise software
About the team
The Atlassian Ecosystem has been wildly successful: we surpassed $2 billion in lifetime sales on the Atlassian Marketplace and over 70% of Jira and Confluence customers use at least one Marketplace app. Today, customers are installing over 28,000 apps on average each week. Cloud Ecosystem Team in EMEA is working with customers and Marketplace Partners to cater to customer use cases on the cloud and excellent integrations with other products.
